Our Story
Welcome to San Tan Doodles! We’re Kristen and Hayden — a husband and wife team raising beautiful, family-friendly Bernedoodles in the heart of Arizona. Alongside our kids, we lovingly raise each puppy in our home, ensuring they’re well-socialized, healthy, and ready to bring joy to their forever families—from our home, to yours.
Our journey with doodles started with our first and favorite "child," Koda. He has the best temperament — a goofy and playful personality, but also knows how to properly enjoy chill-time on the couch.

This perfect dog-parenting adventure inspired us to deliver that same joyful experience to others. Our hope is that we can deliver a puppy that has amazing personality, temperament, and health, and will also be considered a life-changing addition to your family for years to come.
About our Program
Small Program, Big Heart
We keep our program small and ethical so we can give each puppy—and each family—the time and attention they deserve. With weekly updates through our private Facebook group and one-on-one support throughout the process, you’ll feel connected every step of the way. We truly know our dogs, and that personal touch makes all the difference.
Home-Centered Environment
Our puppies are raised in our home, not a kennel, and are handled daily by both adults and children. They grow up around everyday sights and sounds, so when they go home with you, the transition feels natural and easy.
Litter Box & Crate Trained
Starting at 4 weeks old we introduce litter boxes and crates into the puppies' routine. At 8 weeks they go home feeling confident and comfortable in both areas of training. Our puppy families rave about how well the puppies have adjusted into their new homes.
Health & Temperament Testing
We run a full embark health panel on all parent dogs and temperament test each puppy to ensure they're not only healthy but also a great fit for your family.
Puppy Curriculum
Our puppy curriculum blends Badass Breeders and Puppy Culture methods, giving each pup early exposure, socialization, and confidence-building experiences. This helps them grow into well-adjusted, resilient dogs who adapt easily to new people, places, and situations.
Early Neurological Stimulation
Starting at 3 days old, we begin ENS, ESI, and Exposure Therapy, which are simple exercises to help aid each puppy's development, resilience and coping mechanisms. Some benefits include improved cardiovascular performance, higher tolerance to stress, and greater resistance to disease.
